The Primary school will be having international week activities from March 5th -9th, 2017. Our class will be learning about Russia and to help your child get motivated about this learning experience, we ask you in advance to prepare to have your child dress up in a national costume. You can be creative with the dress up, it could be the flag or the traditional dress. Here is a very simple dress up (pictures below). Please use the Google search engine to help you with these costume ideas.
As a celebration for the end of International Week, you are welcome to send a traditional dish from the Russian cuisine. Here are some suggestions for some recipes you can make or buy:
Russian salad, Stroganoff, Honey cake,Russian dumplings,Mini-pies
You can check out this website for the reference http://www.expatica.com/ru/about/Top-10-Russian-foods-and-recipes_108678.html
